Ujjain’s BJP MLA Mohan Yadav is the new Chief Minister(CM) of Madhya Pradesh. He is from the OBC category.

Who is Mohan Yadav?

Mohan Yadav is the MLA from the Ujjain. He also holds a Ph.D. degree. He was the education minister in the BJP government. He joined and started his career by joining Akhil Bharatiya Vidyarthi Parishad in 1984.

He is also a member of RSS(Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh). He was elected as education minister from 2020 to 2023 in the BJP government.

He contested elections from Ujjain South in 2013 and was elected MLA for the third consecutive election.

Why is Mohan Yadav CM?

Shivraj Singh Chauhan suggests his name to the J P Nadda. His name has probably been announced, keeping an eye on the 2024 Lok Sabha elections.
